  • Possible Bilingual Differentials:
    Up to 7.5% for qualifying direct-service roles; up to $80.00/month flat fee for qualifying non-direct service roles.

Job Summary About our Program

Pacific Clinics will be opening a high‑intensity, community‑based Adult Full Service Partnership (FSP) programs for adults age 18+ with serious mental illness (SMI) and complex needs. The program delivers “whatever‑it‑takes,” recovery‑oriented services primarily in the community to stabilize individuals, reduce hospitalizations and incarceration, prevent homelessness, and support long‑term recovery and community integration.

The ACT FSP (Assertive Community Treatment – Full-Service Partnership) program is an intensive, community‑based mental health service for 96 individuals with serious mental illness who have high needs. It provides wraparound, multidisciplinary support, including psychiatry, therapy, case management, crisis intervention, housing assistance, and rehabilitation, delivered with a community-driven approach. The goal is to reduce hospitalization and incarceration, promote recovery, support housing stability, and improve quality of life through continuous, personalized care.

This program will also serve those who are involved in the justice system as well.

Licensed Psychiatric Technicians (LPTs) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) provide direct patient care in psychiatric hospitals, mental health facilities, and residential treatment centers. They work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians to assess patients, administer medications, and implement treatment plans. LPTs and LVNs also provide emotional support to patients, monitor their progress, and assist with daily living activities.

Responsibilities
  • Provides direct care and support to patients in psychiatric and mental health settings.
  • Assesses patient behavior, vital signs, and response to treatment.
  • Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, following established protocols.
  • Implements components of individualized treatment plans under supervision.
  • Assists patients with daily living activities such as hygiene, meals, and mobility.
  • Monitors and documents patient progress, behavior, and clinical changes.
  • Responds to crises and de-escalates challenging situations using approved interventions.
  • Collaborates with physicians, registered nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care.
  • Provides emotional support and therapeutic interaction to promote recovery and well‑being.
  • Maintains accurate clinical records and adheres to all safety and compliance standards.
Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience (two years of relevant experience equals one year of education) to include:
  • Possess and maintain a valid, active license from the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians as a Vocational Nurse or Psychiatric Technician.
  • Obtaining LPS privileges is and at times required, depending on the program needs.
  • Maintain current CPR Certification.
  • Understanding of psychiatric illness and it's treatment, and knowledge of psychotropic medication.
