Maintenance Shift Supervisor

Kelly Engineering is hiring a Maintenance Shift Supervisor for a direct-hire role with a pharmaceutical manufacturing client in Sacramento.

This is a hands-on leadership position in a sterile, 24/7 production environment. You’ll still be on the floor troubleshooting equipment while leading a maintenance team through daily execution. This is not a facilities-only or desk-based role.

• Leading and supervising maintenance technicians on shift
• Troubleshooting pharma process and fill/finish equipment, including:
• Fill/finish lines (vial, bag, PFS)
• Autoclaves and isolators
• Formulation and filtration systems
• Prioritizing work, reducing downtime, and supporting PM execution
• Ensuring maintenance activities meet GMP, safety, and quality standards
• Training and mentoring technicians
• Supporting equipment startups, commissioning, and contractors as needed

• 5–6+ years of pharmaceutical manufacturing maintenance experience
• Prior shift or team leadership experience
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting background in sterile or fill/finish environments
• Comfort working in GMP-regulated manufacturing operations
• Willingness to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 facility
