Touchstone Brewing: Cook at Pintworks Brewpub

Overview

Touchstone Brewing Company is a brewery with a tap room and outdoor beer garden. Pintworks Pub offers beer, other beverages (including non-alcoholic), and food. The restaurant portion of our brewpub is now open, and we are seeking a Cook/Back of House (BOH) team member to join our kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will prepare delicious food for customers and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment.

You will report directly to the Pub Manager and collaborate with the Front of House (FOH) team when necessary.

Per Diem (Flexible Hours)

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas.
• Assist in receiving and storing food supplies, products, and equipment.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, fryers, and dishwashers.
• Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation at all times.
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Assist FOH staff as needed.
• Follow directions and tasks as assigned by the Pub Manager.
• Perform other tasks as needed.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen setting.
• Successful completion of a background check may be required.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
• Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours).
• Occasional exposure to varying temperatures.
• Flexibility to bend, kneel, sit, climb, and walk as needed.
• Adaptability to varying noise levels, with ear protection available if necessary.

• This is a per diem position with no guaranteed hours.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays; a flexible schedule is required.

• Starting Pay is $21.00/hour. Compensation decisions are based on factors including location, experience, and tenure.
