Role Description

This full-time, on-site Kitchen Manager role is based in Sacramento, CA. Off Site Lead Catering Chef doing and supporting 100+ wedding yearly. The Kitchen Manager will oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and managing food quality to meet the highest standards. Responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, maintaining organization and cleanliness, managing inventory, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and collaborating on menu planning with an emphasis on locally-sourced ingredients.

Leadership and operational management are key components of this hands-on role.

Qualifications

5 yrs Off Prem Catering Required,

  • Proficiency in Food Preparation, Cooking, and Food Quality management
  • Experience in Culinary Management and knowledge of Food & Beverage operations
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and team management abilities
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and compliance requirements
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
  • Prior experience in catering or hospitality is a plus
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred
