The Clerk Helper is an excellent entry‑level store position with opportunities for growth and learning within our Save Mart family of businesses. Our Clerk Helpers play an important role in the efficient operations of the front‑end, providing friendly, fast, and effective customer service, creating a welcoming store atmosphere and fostering loyal repeat customers.

• Provide a remarkable shopping experience by greeting and engaging with customers, offering assistance, being approachable and friendly, and going the extra mile.
• Perform store sweeps, focusing on front‑end and entrance areas, keeping floors free of spills or debris for safety.
• Clean registers and belts, empty check‑stand trash cans, dust and face shelves on a routine and daily basis.
• Collect all shopping carts from the parking lot, maintaining a cart‑free lot during shifts.
• Perform price checks and assist with go‑backs, returning items to correct locations, prioritizing perishables.
• Assist Clerks in moving lines quickly during busy times by bagging groceries efficiently while protecting quality.

Hiring pay range: $17.10 - $17.10

• No experience required.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Continuous walking, standing, reaching, and bending.
• Environment includes indoor and outdoor with exposure to varying temperatures.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Strong team player with willingness and desire to learn, work hard, and enjoy the role.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
