E-Commerce Clerk & Collect

Position Overview

The Click & Collect Clerk fulfills grocery orders placed online and delivers them to customers upon arrival at the store. The role ensures a positive shopping experience by accurately picking, staging, and handing over orders, and providing friendly customer service.

• Shop and stage orders for customers who have placed an online order.
• Deliver orders to customers when they arrive for pickup.
• Review orders from the app when an order is placed.
• Locate and carefully select the correct items from the order list.
• Communicate with customers when items are unavailable.
• Check expiration dates, quality, and condition of all items when selecting.
• Process checkout transactions when shopping is completed.
• Assist with returning all products to shelves that customers have moved or returned before purchase ("go-backs").
• Help maintain inventory control to ensure freshness, product quality, and turnover for maximum sales.
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service at all times.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Strong time management skills, meeting strict timelines for fulfillment during peak hours.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in product selection and order fulfillment.
• Basic technology skills to use handheld devices and navigate applications.
• Ability to lift and carry groceries up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations, manage multiple demands, and work effectively with diverse personalities.
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment while remaining calm under pressure.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Stand and walk for extended periods, typically 8-hour shifts. Perform repetitive motions such as reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, and handling products. Work in indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to seasonal weather conditions.

Vary; availability required on weekends, evenings, and holidays. Typical shifts are 8 hours for full-time employees.

Store location: PAQ, Inc. Management. Reports to Manager, Combo or Front End.

Pay Range: $16.90 – $21.50 per hour.
