Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
Responsibilities- Team Member – Collaborates with cross‑functional teams, helps educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources, communicates effectively, develops interpersonal skills, provides customer service, tracks goods, maintains in‑stock levels, and controls shrinkage.
- Expert – Maintains a deep knowledge of various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage, and back‑room operations; processes meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping), ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment.
- Techie – Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement using handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality.
- Owner – Drives business results, ensures operational excellence, plans for profitability, maintains a clean work area, ensures quality and standards for high‑volume meat products, eliminates waste, secures fragile merchandise, assists members with purchasing decisions, and ensures products are properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
- Talent Ambassador – Advocates for the department and the club, models high‑quality service and products, executes basics at the highest quality, interacts with associates to understand roadblocks, and trains them to perform job‑related duties.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, ethics and integrity, and participates in the open‑door policy.
- Completes work assignments by using data and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other partners.

- The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 to $29.00. The actual hourly rate will be equal to or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
- Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

- Six months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Complete all required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.
- Experience in Meat Processing Area.
