Grocery Floor Associate

The Grocery Floor Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service while helping maintain a clean, organized, stocked, and customer-ready store. This position includes stocking merchandise, checking product dates, cashiering, cleaning, and assisting customers throughout the store.

• Stock and replenish merchandise throughout the sales floor.
• Rotate products and check expiration and best-by dates.
• Remove expired, damaged, or unsellable merchandise.
• Keep shelves organized, faced, stocked, and presentable.
• Operate a cash register and accurately process customer transactions.
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service.
• Assist customers with locating products and answering questions.
• Perform general cleaning duties throughout the store.
• Keep aisles, shelves, work areas, and customer areas clean and safe.
• Assist with unloading, organizing, and moving merchandise.
• Follow all store safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  .
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive stocking tasks.

• Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced grocery store environment.
• Willing to perform a variety of duties, including stocking, cashiering, and cleaning.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
