Overview

The Sales and Education Executive (SEE) is a retail, education, and client-centric role, responsible for achieving sales targets in an assigned market, cultivating relationships, building brand awareness, and achieving product launch objectives. The SEE drives revenue, product awareness, and sales while developing and strengthening Murad's position in the retail, beauty, and health and wellness arena. Responsibilities include assessing business opportunities, planning to achieve growth, and creating by-door strategies for success that include education, events, and sales support to drive sell-through.

The SEE creates an action plan monthly, quarterly, and annually to achieve targets and contributes to successful launches of new products through account education, promotional activity, and events. The SEE uses mandated company tools and resources effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Sales
    :
    Drive sales to meet leadership-defined metrics; develop territory strategy to maximize sell-through; plan and execute events to achieve sales goals; review daily, weekly, and monthly sales; prepare business reviews with leadership; create product demonstration plans for product launches; influence and collaborate with remote stores to drive sales volume; improve store-level brand ranking in the assigned territory.
  • Training
    :
    Educate and train store staff on Murad brand knowledge and product demonstrations; plan and execute quarterly meetings with Store Management, District Managers, Department Managers, and District Trainers; deliver strong presentations one-on-one and to larger groups; adapt training to individual skill levels.
  • Communication, Relationships, and Time Management
    :
    Self-motivated to represent Murad positively with retail partners; communicate seasonal presentations to Store Management and Selling Staff; report sales and rankings to store leadership during visits, calls, and meetings; communicate out-of-stock situations to National Account Managers; manage T&E budget thoughtfully and submit it weekly; support merchandising execution according to guidelines and Retail Planogram; participate in weekly calls and monthly reviews;

    manage freelance team and budget ethically.
  • Tools and Resources
    :
    Complete daily recap and assigned missions with “Go Spot Check”; utilize tools, samples, and education materials as instructed; optimize use of tools such as iPads and skin tools to support the business.
  • Other Requirements
    :
    Minimum 2 years in the beauty or health and wellness space; bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; experience with large retail accounts; strong track record of retail sales; resilient and adaptable; strong business acumen; proficient in daily administrative tasks (Outlook, Excel, basic computer skills); familiarity with Sephora, Ulta, Nordstrom preferred; social media savvy; willingness to locate in the assigned market or territory as directed;

    valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation; overnight travel as needed by market.

The expected base salary for this position is $70,000 to $75,000. The exact base salary is determined by factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus plan based on personal performance and company results and is commission-eligible.
