Director, Medical Education Business Development
Bio Talent is partnering with a leading organization in the healthcare education space to identify a Director, Medical Education Business Development. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced business development professional looking to join a collaborative, entrepreneurial team with strong earning potential and the autonomy to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities- Drive new business growth while managing and expanding strategic client relationships (approximately 70% new business / 30% account management)
- Sell medical education solutions to pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations
- Build and maintain long‑term partnerships with key industry stakeholders
- Represent the organization at conferences and client meetings
- 5–7 years of business development experience
- Background in CME preferred; candidates from Medical Affairs, healthcare advertising, or other adjacent life sciences industries are also encouraged to apply
- Demonstrated success generating new business and exceeding sales goals
- Experience selling into pharmaceutical and biotech organizations
- Oncology experience is a plus, but not required
- Entrepreneurial culture with the autonomy to sell to your strengths
- Established market presence and strong brand recognition
- Existing accounts provided while continuing to develop new business
- Remote opportunity (EST/CST preferred) with approximately 20–25% travel
- Competitive compensation with uncapped monthly commission
