We're looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Area Sales Coordinator to support the sales efforts of multiple hotels in the Sacramento and Davis markets. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, staying organized, and being a key contributor to a high-performing team.
As the administrative backbone of our Area Sales team, you'll help coordinate group business, meetings, and negotiated accounts while working alongside experienced sales professionals. - Support the Director of Sales and Area Sales Managers with daily sales and administrative activities.
- Prepare contracts, proposals, rooming lists, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and group resumes.
- Coordinate meeting room and group booking inquiries.
- Maintain accurate account, group, and event information in sales systems.
- Assist with client communication and follow-up throughout the sales process.
- Monitor room blocks, pickup reports, and reservation activity.
- Coordinate internally with hotel departments to ensure successful execution of group and meeting business.
- Organize files, reports, correspondence, and sales documentation.
- Assist with site visits, client events, and special projects.
- Help create exceptional experiences for clients and guests from inquiry through event execution.
- You're organized and rarely let details slip through the cracks.
- You enjoy juggling multiple projects and priorities.
- You communicate professionally and confidently with clients and colleagues.
- You take initiative and don't wait to be told what needs to be done.
- You enjoy working as part of a team and contributing to shared goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, sales support, administration, events, or a related field.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Experience with contracts, rooming lists, BEOs, or event coordination.
- Familiarity with CRM, sales, or hotel property management systems.
- $23.00-$25.00 per hour
