The District Sales Coordinator is a full-time, on-site position based in Sacramento, CA, responsible for supporting district sales operations and driving business growth. In this role, the coordinator assists in managing regional sales activities, including organizing prospecting efforts, tracking performance metrics, and preparing reports for leadership. The position involves coordinating training sessions and meetings for sales associates, maintaining accurate records of accounts and leads, and ensuring timely follow-up with clients and prospects.
The coordinator collaborates with sales leadership to implement local marketing initiatives, support enrollment events, and improve customer and broker relationships. This role requires consistent on-site presence to work closely with the district team and provide operational and administrative support that enhances overall sales effectiveness.
- Strong sales support and coordination skills, including experience managing schedules, organizing meetings, and supporting field sales teams.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders, with strong customer service orientation.
- Proficiency with office software (such as Microsoft Office or similar tools) and comfort working with CRM or sales tracking systems.
- Solid organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, sales materials, and clear correspondence.
- Self‑motivated and goal‑oriented, with the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a local team.
- Experience in insurance, employee benefits, or related sales environments is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
