- Supervise field staff
- Write and review technical reports and CEQA/NEPA chapters
- Conducting ESA consultations for projects requiring a CWA 404 permit
- Leading meetings
- Proposal preparation support
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in biology, fisheries biology, wildlife biology, fish and wildlife biology, conservation biology, environmental science, aquatic ecology, or related discipline)
- 8+ years of experience, preferably with some consulting experience
- Expertise in environmental permitting, wildlife biology, ecosystem restoration, aquatic ecology, and/or fisheries biology
- Familiar with CEQA/NEPA
- Familiar with California State and Federal Endangered Species Acts
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to communicate with clients and team members effectively
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
