Security Officer - Flex Unarmed Driver in Fresno, CA

Pay Rate: $18.45 / Hour

Job Schedule: Tue 05:00 PM – 01:30 AM;
Wed 05:00 PM – 01:30 AM

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of the financial services location, including the lobby, ATM areas, parking areas, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and observe alarms, cameras, and/or other systems when assigned, reporting irregular conditions and following escalation procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with site management and/or public responders as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and service requests in written and/or electronic reports, communicating timely updates to supervisors and site representatives.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having a guard card or license is preferred.
• Having customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
