The beautiful Embassy Suites by Hilton Sacramento Riverfront Promenade is looking to add an esteemed Maintenance Engineer to the team  We are located across from Old Sacramento and the State Capitol  We are a 242 guest room hotel with 11 meetings rooms and 9,000  square feet of event space  Enjoy fun perks such as discounted hotel stays for you and your family

Full Time
+

Shift: 5 shifts per week;
Varies - AM/PM to include weekends and holidays
+ Hourly Pay: $21 50  $24 00 DOE

** The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:*
* + Ability to communicate effectively in English is required
+ Must have basic working knowledge with computers
+ Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry including repairs and troubleshooting is a plus
+ The ability to work a flexible schedule with various shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays is required
+ Most importantly a service heart to deliver a high level of service to our guests

** What will I be doing:*
* As an Engineer, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability  Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

+ Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space, and heart of the house areas
+ Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner to assess and repair non functioning machinery and/or equipment
+ Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work and masonry
+ Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs
+ Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention
