Fire Alarm Technician

We are seeking an experienced Alarm Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and security of our clients by installing and inspecting new electrical systems and completing repairs or upgrades on existing electrical systems.

• Install and maintain alarm systems in commercial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for system design.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with national, state and local electrical codes.
• Troubleshoot and repair alarm system issues.
• Collaborate with clients, GC and inspectors.
• Provide field service support for service calls.
• Maintain accurate records of installations.
• Stay current with industry standards, codes, and regulations through continuous education and training.

• Proven experience as an Alarm Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and fire alarms.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and system design.
• Familiarity with NEC codes and regulations.
• Knowledge of AC/DC theory.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Regularly required to stand, bend, kneel, stoop, and crouch throughout the day, for long and short periods of time.
• Regularly lift and raise objects from lower to higher positions.
• Use fingers and hands in repetitive and non-repetitive motion, twisting, pinching, and grasping tools.
• Extend arms in front of the body at shoulder level and above the head.
