Carpenter Framer - Second Shift

This role focuses on constructing and assembling wall panels, floor systems, and roof structures in a manufacturing construction setting during the second shift. You will interpret blueprints and construction plans, install framing components with precision, and use hand and power tools safely while contributing to high-quality, code-compliant structures.
Responsibilities- Construct and assemble wall panels, floor systems, and roof structures using wood and other framing materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate layout and execution.
- Install framing components including studs, joists, rafters, and sheathing with precision and efficiency.
- Use hand and power tools such as nail guns, saws, levels, and measuring devices safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and structural requirements.
- Perform general carpentry tasks such as rough and finish carpentry, trim work, and installation of doors and related components as needed.
- Measure, cut, and fit materials accurately using tape measures and other measuring tools.
- Support modular or manufacturing‑based construction processes by following standardized procedures and production schedules.
- At least 3 years of framing experience in residential or modular construction.
- Journeyman-level framing carpentry experience with a minimum of 3 years in the trade.
- Strong understanding of framing techniques, materials, and structural principles.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Proficiency with framing tools including nail guns, saws, levels, and measuring devices.
- Demonstrated ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
- Solid work ethic with a consistent focus on safety and quality craftsmanship.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or modular building environment is a plus.
- Experience with trim work, cabinetry, and wood framing installation.
- Ability to perform basic painting and finishing tasks when required.
- Comfort working with blueprints and layout tools for accurate builds.
- Experience with new construction projects and installation of doors and related components.
- Ability to handle general labor tasks in support of framing and construction activities.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain tools, materials, and work spaces efficiently.

WorkEnvironment
This position is based in a manufacturing construction setting focused on modular or production‑style building. You will work Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on second shift, with occasional half‑day Saturdays as needed. The role involves regular use of hand and power tools such as nail guns, saws, tape measures, and levels in an active production environment. You can expect a fast‑paced, hands‑on workplace where safety standards, cleanliness, and organization are prioritized throughout the facility.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.
