Electrical subcontractor seeking a Foreman with ground-up electrical construction experience. Excellent growth opportunity.

Job Details

Permanent Traveling Electrical Foreman to join a well-established commercial electrical contractor supporting projects throughout Northern California and Nevada. Projects include commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, data/technology, and public works, delivered through design-build, design-assist, and plan-spec approaches.

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all electrical installations on various construction sites, ensuring they are completed to the highest standard, on time, and within budget.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
  • Supervise and guide a team of electricians, providing mentorship and training as needed.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure smooth execution of projects.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems, minimizing disruption to construction projects.
  • Regularly inspect equipment and machinery, arranging for maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Travel to various construction sites as required, managing on‑site operations and teams.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Journeyman Electrician.
  • Demonstrable experience in commercial electrical installations, including pipe installations.
  • Experience with Procore or similar systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and guide a team of electricians.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical problems.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of construction professionals.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to various construction sites.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
