Your Impact
We are seeking an Experienced HVAC Technician to service and repair commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on cell tower sites. This is a fast‑paced, rewarding job best suited for responsible, self‑directed, highly motivated individuals who are willing to travel and eager to learn and grow in the telecom industry. This is a regional position; candidates should reside in the Sacramento, California area.
CoreResponsibilities
- Maintain cooling systems, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, or replacing components of entire systems.
- Conduct performance checks and perform regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Perform maintenance or upgrades to out‑of‑season HVAC equipment.
- Respond to service calls promptly, including emergency call‑out services.
- Complete daily work reports accurately and timely.
- Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally in accordance with company policy and insurance requirements.
Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.
Core Experience & Qualifications- Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
- 3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience (commercial preferred).
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Additional requirements:
- Must reside in the Sacramento, California area.
- Available for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion.
- Extensive daily travel with an independent work structure.
- Occasional overnight stays (company pays all travel costs and provides per diem).
- Driving to remote work sites as needed.
- Exposure to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). hourly, DOE. In addition to wages, employees may be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, a company vehicle, per diem, and other applicable compensation.Benefits
