What do our Termite Technicians do?Termite Technicians use their expertise to protect customers’ properties from wood‑destroying organisms. As the first line of defense, they conduct inspections, prevention, and treatment services that create peace of mind for our customers.
Responsibilities- Identify customer’s termite problems and determine remedial steps based on termite behavior and habits.
- Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices.
- Apply anti‑termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions.
- Communicate to the customer critical conditions conducive to termite activity and discuss procedures and structural modifications that may supplement the treatment process.
- Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order.
- Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.
- Complete production forms documenting services provided.
- Interact with customers and explain services provided.
- Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations.
- Prepare the job site for treatment.
- Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders.
- Be comfortable working 20 feet up on a ladder and in small confined spaces.
- General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter, and attic experience is a plus.
- Ability to work on roofs and high areas.
- Perform frequent moving activities—sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator, and work in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways.
- Clean shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers must seal the face).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license from state of residence (company vehicle and gas card provided).
- At least 1 year of customer service experience; termite control experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed.
- Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us).
- Basic math skills—add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; follow instructions for mixing on product labels.
Hourly: $17.00 - $23.00

Employees in this position perform work within customers’ residences, property, and places of business often unsupervised and with access to vulnerable populations. They may have access to company and customers’ records, including personal identifiable information, financial records, make financial quotes and commitments on behalf of the company, use, handle, and have access to regulated chemicals that could cause harm to humans or the environment if used inappropriately.
They work closely with other colleagues, vendors, and/or customers and must be able to resolve conflicts and disputes in a non‑violent and non‑disruptive manner. They may drive a company vehicle as a primary duty and must safely operate a vehicle on public streets, and receive company equipment to perform work.
