Vehicle Upfit Installer

LEHR is seeking someone with a strong work ethic and detail‑oriented mindset to join our Sacramento team as a Vehicle Upfit Installer
.

• Remove factory‑installed interior and exterior vehicle components
• Install emergency vehicle equipment, including light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions, and more
• Install cameras, computers, and license plate recognition systems
• Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace
• Organize tools and inventory

Required:

• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude or hands‑on experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in/around vehicles
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED

Preferred:

• Experience with 12V electrical systems
• Ability to read schematics or wiring diagrams

Entry‑level candidates with hands‑on experience are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.

• $20‑$22 per hour Trainee Level and $22‑$24 per hour based for Experienced Technicians

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, no weekends.
