Maintenance Technician

Mission Linen Supply is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers. The role performs preventive maintenance including welding, boiler chemical testing, chemistry adjustments, safety resolution, and maintenance record preparation.

Salary: $16.90 – $21.00/hour, based on education, experience, and location.

• Routine preventive maintenance to keep plant machines running smoothly.
• Morning start‑up and evening shutdown of equipment including boiler, air compressor, power, pumps, and valves.
• Maintenance of lint traps, shaker screen barrels, oil levels, grease fittings, and water levels.
• General and basic repairs on machinery.
• Follow manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule and document processes.
• Identify and report major repairs needed on machinery.

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of two years of maintenance engineering experience with knowledge of machinery, electricity, electronics, plumbing, welding, and boiler applications.
• Experience with mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and reading repair manuals & schematics.
• Mission will provide training in Steam Boiler, Electrical, Pneumatic, Schematics, Maintenance, Welding, and Plumbing.

Requires standing/moving during the workday; tasks involve stooping, pulling, pushing, and working in cramped areas. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
