Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. You will be responsible for finishing drywall surfaces to a smooth, paint-ready standard on residential and modular construction projects. Your expertise in taping, mudding, texturing, and sanding will contribute to high-quality craftsmanship while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Tape, mud, and finish drywall seams, joints, corners, and fastener indentations to achieve a smooth surface.
- Apply multiple coats of joint compound and sand finished surfaces to prepare for painting and final finishes.
- Repair drywall imperfections, cracks, and damaged sections as needed.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to meet project timelines and quality expectations.
- Ensure all work complies with company standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of drywall finishing experience in residential, commercial, or modular construction.
- Strong knowledge of taping, mudding, sanding, texturing, and drywall repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications.
- Skilled in using drywall finishing tools including taping knives, mud boxes, sanders, and texture equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Journeyman level with at least 3 years of drywall finishing experience.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail.
- Experience in a manufacturing or modular construction environment is a plus.

Work Environment
You will be working in a manufacturing construction setting. The shift is from Monday to Friday, 2 PM to 10:30 PM or 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with occasional half-day Saturdays. Embrace the opportunity to work with advanced tools and contribute to innovative construction projects.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
