Job Details

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Service Electrician to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in maintaining the functionality and safety of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry, specializing in electrical systems installation, electrical troubleshooting, and blueprint reading. This role involves working on a variety of projects including public works and schools.

The candidate must possess a California Electrical License and have excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local electrical codes.
2. Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues quickly and effectively.
3. Reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and specifications to ensure proper electrical installations.
4. Ensuring all electrical work meets the standards of quality and safety.
5. Working collaboratively with other construction professionals such as architects, engineers, and project managers.
6. Providing exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
7. Regularly inspecting and assessing public works and schools for electrical safety and efficiency.
8. Keeping up-to-date with the latest electrical systems and advancements in the industry.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Service Electrician in the construction industry.
2. Proficiency in installing and maintaining electrical systems.
3. Advanced skills in electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
4. Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics.
5. Excellent knowledge of electrical safety procedures and regulations.
6. Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
7. Experience working on public works and schools is highly desirable.
8. Must hold a valid California Electrical License.
9. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Physically fit and able to perform the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and working at heights.
