HVAC Service Technician

Beutler Air Conditioning & Plumbing seeks an HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems across the Sacramento region. In this customer-focused, safety-minded role, you'll troubleshoot equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and complete start-ups and change-outs while following company and industry standards. Technicians work closely with dispatch, installers, and plumbers to provide reliable, high-quality service, clear communication, and accurate documentation, with ongoing training and growth opportunities in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal tune-ups
• Install and start up HVAC equipment and components as needed
• Follow safety procedures, codes, and company quality standards
• Communicate findings, options, and recommendations to customers
• Document work performed, parts used, and system readings accurately
• Coordinate with dispatch, installers, and plumbing teams on jobs
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in good condition
• Participate in ongoing technical and safety training
• Provide professional, courteous, and timely customer service
