Bell Bros is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems across the Sacramento region. You'll perform troubleshooting, tune-ups, replacements, and start-ups while educating homeowners on system use, energy efficiency, and maintenance options. Expect a family-style, team-focused environment with ongoing professional training, modern tools, and clear safety standards. This role offers growth into lead or specialist positions while helping customers keep their homes safe, comfortable, and efficient year-round.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and seasonal tune-ups on HVAC equipment
  • Install or replace HVAC components such as motors, compressors, thermostats, and filters
  • Use gauges, meters, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot performance and efficiency issues
  • Explain repair findings, options, and maintenance plans to homeowners in clear, friendly terms
  • Follow company procedures, safety standards, and local codes on every job
  • Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service software or work orders
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and treat customers' homes with respect
  • Collaborate with dispatch and team members to manage schedules and prioritize calls
  • Participate in ongoing technical and customer-service training to improve skills
