Job Description About the OpportunityRSCS and MRC are looking for experienced commercial refrigeration service technicians who know the trade, take pride in their work, and can perform in the field when customers are counting on them.
This role is for skilled commercial refrigeration professionals with real field-service experience – technicians who can walk into a facility, troubleshoot the issue, communicate clearly with the customer, and help get critical systems operating safely and reliably again.
You will join a team of trade professionals who understand commercial and industrial refrigeration, value strong workmanship, and support one another across a growing Western U.S. service footprint.
Requirements What You’ll Do- Troubleshoot,service, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC, chillers, boiler systems, refrigeration systems
- Diagnose issues involving compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, valves,controls, VFDs, and related equipment
- Perform emergency service, leak response, preventive maintenance, systemevaluations, and startup support
- Read and work fromP&IDs, electrical schematics, and control drawings
- Communicate findings, repair needs, and recommendations clearly to customer sand internal teams
- Complete accuratefield documentation and follow strong safety practices in every job
- Help customersreduce downtime, improve reliability, and keep refrigerationsystems operating as they should
- Proven industrial commercial field-service experience
- Hands-on experience with r efrigeration systems and commercial HVAC required
- Strong troubleshooting skills and safe work habits
- Ability to work independently in the field while contributing to a professional team
- RETA CARO/CIRO,OSHA, EPA Universal, welding, controls, or electrical experience are valued, but practical field skill matters most
- Valid driver’slicense and willingness to travel and participate in on‑callservice as needed

We use a tiered hourly payscale across RSCS and MRC for technician roles:
Apprentice/Entry $20–$30 ,
Technician (Early-Career) $30–$40 ,
Journeyman (Mid-Level) $40–$50 , and Senior/Field Supervisor $50–$70 (top end reserved forhighest-level Senior Ammonia Technicians and Field Supervisors). Starting pay is based on verified experience,certifications, and job scope (including on-call/travel as applicable) and may vary by location due to local market and cost ofliving; hiring managers set the final starting rate within the appropriate tier.
