Join Cool Sys as an HVAC/R Service Technician in our Technical & Maintenance team, supporting HVAC wholesale customers. You'll diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems, ensuring peak performance and energy efficiency. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and refrigeration issues, performing preventive maintenance, start-ups, and retrofits, and accurately documenting service. You'll collaborate closely with customers and teammates, follow safety and compliance standards, and use advanced tools and controls.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems and components
  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and system start-ups
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues using diagnostic tools
  • Install, retrofit, and commission HVAC/R equipment and controls as needed
  • Document service work, parts used, and recommendations in service software
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding findings and repair options
  • Adhere to safety, EPA, and company compliance standards at all times
  • Collaborate with team members and dispatch to prioritize and complete service calls
  • Maintain tools, service vehicle, and inventory in clean, reliable condition
  • Support energy-efficiency and performance optimization initiatives for customers
