We are seeking an experienced Lead Residential HVAC Installer to join our team. This position is ideal for a highly skilled installer who can lead crews, manage residential installation projects from start to finish, and deliver top-quality workmanship and customer service. WhatYou’ll Do
- Lead and oversee residential HVAC installation projects from start to completion
- Install residential HVAC systems including furnaces, condensers, heat pumps, package units, mini splits, and ductwork
- Supervise and train installation helpers and junior installers
- Read and interpret blueprints, load calculations, and installation specifications
- Ensure all systems are installed safely, efficiently, and according to code and manufacturer standards
- Troubleshoot installation challenges and make field adjustments as needed
- Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding installation progress and system operation
- Coordinate with dispatch, warehouse, project managers, and other departments to ensure smooth project completion
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Ensure all paperwork, materials, and job documentation are completed accurately and on time
- High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC trade school or apprenticeship preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
- Previous lead installer or crew leadership experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems, duct design, airflow, refrigeration, and electrical components
- Experience with residential change-outs, retrofits, ductwork modifications, and new construction installations
- Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and manufacturer specifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to manage crews and maintain productivity while ensuring quality workmanship
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- EPA Certification preferred
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
