Are you someone who takes pride in getting the job done right? Do you thrive in hands‑on, structured work where quality and precision matter? At Alpha Omega Wireless, we're building more than wireless networks—we're building a team of skilled professionals who value excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.
We're hiring Broadband Wireless Technicians, LTE Technicians, and those who want to learn both—with room to grow and specialize as you develop your skills.
We're looking for reliable, detail‑oriented technicians who want to master a trade, work alongside a close-knit crew, and grow with a company that invests in your long‑term success.
What You'll DoThis is a hands‑on, outdoor role where no two job sites are the same, but the standards never change. You'll work as part of a small, collaborative team (2–4 technicians) installing and maintaining outdoor wireless systems that keep the world connected.
- Install antennas, cabling, and equipment on towers, rooftops, and outdoor structures
- Climb towers and work at heights (up to and above 300') following strict safety protocols
- Terminate fiber, coax, and shielded twisted pair cables to manufacturer specs
- Align and optimize wireless equipment for peak performance
- Problem‑solve on‑site when things don't go as planned—then call for backup when needed
- Document installations with photos, serial numbers, and turnover reports
- Travel to job sites across the region (50%+ overnight travel)
This isn't a desk job. It's hard hat, work boots, and being outside in all conditions. If you're energized by physical work, mastering technical skills, and seeing tangible results at the end of every day, you'll fit right in.
Who Thrives in This RoleWe're looking for people who:
- Follow the plan and get it right the first time
- Take pride in quality work
- Understand that cutting corners creates problems down the line
- Communicate and collaborate naturally: ask questions when unsure, coordinate with your team throughout the day, and elevate issues before they become emergencies
- Want to master a craft through repetition: you develop each install rather than getting bored
- Are comfortable being directed, not directing: work best under a clear plan, strong foreman, and defined standards
- Handle travel and unpredictability without losing focus: job sites change, schedules shift, and you're on the road 50%+ of the time
This role isn't a fit if you:
- Always need to be in charge or prefer working solo
- Get bored with routine or resist following established procedures
- Prioritize speed over accuracy
- Struggle with extended travel or physical outdoor work
Must‑haves:
- Mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand/power tools
- Willingness to climb towers and work at heights (we'll certify you)
- Valid driver's license (you'll drive company vehicles)
- Ability to travel overnight 50%+ of the time
Nice‑to‑haves (we'll train you on the rest):
- Construction, telecom, satellite TV, or military installation experience
- Tower climbing certification
- IP networking or RF knowledge
- Fiber, coax, or twisted pair termination experience
We're not just hiring technicians—we're building long‑term careers. Whether you want to become a master craftsman or grow into a foreman or operations role, we'll invest in your development.
What we offer:- $22–$35/hour (based on experience)
- Paid holidays (including your birthday and Veterans Day for veterans)
- 10+ days PTO (starting year one)
- 401(k with company match (after 1 year)
- Paid training and certifications (tower climbing, RF awareness, CPR/First Aid)
- Long‑term stability with a fast‑growing company
- Best in the Industry – Highest quality, every time
- Professional Integrity – Do the right thing, always
- Rock It! – Safest, most efficient, hardest‑working crew
- Team AO – We've got your back
- Totally Committed – All‑in on who we are and where we're going
This is hands‑on work. This is teamwork. This is craftsmanship.
