Job Description And Duties
The SPT III is the first line working supervisor in the Criminal Record Update Program (CRUP), Criminal Record Update Section over Program Technician (PT) III staff. The SPT III must analyze, distribute, monitor, and prioritize workload;
Identify, resolve, and advise in resolving the most complex work. Train and assist personnel who update data on the Automated Criminal History System (ACHS) via the Justice Automated Data Exchange (JADE). Monitor and evaluate attendance and work performances and take appropriate corrective action when necessary. Develop memorandums, correspondence, and personnel documents as needed. The SPT III must analyze workload data, have a working knowledge of all the work functions in CRUS and have a working knowledge of the Bureau’s functions.
