Senior .NET Developer

Must have:

• BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience in software development utilizing Microsoft s platform with a focus on API development
• 5+ years in a leadership role for software development projects
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and processes
• Proficient in both back-end and front-end development with Microsoft .NET
• Extensive coding experience in C# and ASP.NET
• Solid background in SQL and SQL Server development, along with data conversion skills
• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks is advantageous
• Knowledge of Azure or AWS Cloud environments is beneficial
• Experience with data engineering and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus
• Aptitude for debugging and testing code effectively
• Previous experience in government contracting environments is a plus
• Self-motivated with the ability to work on tasks with minimal oversight

• Provide technical guidance and leadership in the development and implementation of standards for high-quality, maintainable software
• Facilitate collaboration among product, QA, UX, and client stakeholders to clarify requirements, create UI mockups, define acceptance criteria, and ensure successful user acceptance testing and application sign-off
• Engage in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives), offering accurate estimates while leading or participating in code and architecture reviews
• Enhance software development methodologies and product features with a focus on customer experience and growth opportunities, empowering teams to take charge of user experience
• Utilize modern development tools (e.g., Visual Studio 2022+, VS Code), source control (Git), Dev Ops strategies, and AI toolsets actively
• Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using Microsoft .NET (preferably ASP.NET Core), C#, HTML/CSS, and relevant JavaScript frameworks
• Convert user requirements into acceptance criteria while creating architecture diagrams, API specifications, and data models to inform implementation
• Implement and test solutions while maintaining comprehensive technical and deployment documentation
• Work directly with clients to deliver production-ready online solutions, assisting in deployments, demonstrations, and training
• Pursue continuous learning of new technologies and apply software best practices to design data models, implement features, and generate maintainable reports
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying and operating applications in a cloud environment, preferably Azure or AWS
• Collaborate closely with project managers to accurately estimate, plan, and deliver features on time while effectively communicating risks and prioritizing competing factors (cost, functionality, performance) to support decision-making
