Senior Software Engineer; Full Stack

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to provide expert-level front-end and back-end web application development, consultation, and technical support for a modern, web-based provider certification and compliance tracking system. The application will replace legacy/manual processes with an integrated platform that streamlines certification workflows, automates training compliance tracking, and improves operational efficiency.

• Design, build, enhance, and maintain a Progressive Web Application (PWA) supporting certification workflows and compliance tracking.
• Develop and maintain front-end features using JavaScript and VueJS (tooling may include Vite).
• Build and support back-end services using Node.js (including frameworks such as Fastify) and create REST APIs.
• Write and optimize database queries and support data reporting needs (e.g., queries against enterprise data sources).
• Create electronic forms and PDF reports, and support reporting outputs as needed.
• Participate in an Agile, two-week sprint cycle, contributing to planning, refinement, daily standups, demos, and retrospectives while delivering potentially deployable increments each sprint.
• Produce clear project artifacts as directed, such as meeting and working-session notes, fact-finding and communication notes, presentations, requirements/user stories/use cases, technical design and as-built documentation.
• Perform ongoing maintenance and operations work: bug fixes, performance monitoring, QA, and addressing security issues; contribute to code reviews and coding standards.
• Support deployment activities and troubleshoot issues in the hosting environment; provide technical support to program staff.
• Pay range = $65-75/hr depending on experience.

Mandatory state quals to qualify:

• Minimum four (4) years of demonstrated experience developing and maintaining solutions that are mission-critical, intuitive and user-friendly, with features including online training, on-screen help, and decentralized account management, and performance-oriented for fast response.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in projects developing and maintaining web-based solutions.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in troubleshooting code and performing edge testing based on user requirements/stories (full stack).
• Minimum four (4) years of experience performing complex database queries in Oracle/MS SQL Server to produce data conversion, and data analysis to provide visual data reports as requested.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience with one or more of the following:
  JavaScript, Type Script, Azure Dev Ops/Git Hub, VueJS, React, Angular, HTML & CSS.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience with one or more of the following:
  Oracle SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Mongo
  
  DB, REST APIs, and working with functions, triggers, and stored procedures.
• Experience integrating PCI-DSS compliant payment portal into web applications.
• Experience using the Composition API in VueJS.
• Experience with Mongo

• Experience creating Aggregation Pipelines in Mongo
  
  DB with multiple stages.
• Familiarity with Linux and Docker images for localhost development.
• Experience with third-party controls/libraries such as Vuetify or Prime Vue.
• Experience using JavaScript libraries (e.g., PDFMake) to create PDF reports.
• Experience using Oracle SQL Developer or Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
• Experience using VSCode.
