Senior Salesforce Developer (US - Sacramento, CA)

Senior Salesforce Developer position: client‑facing role to configure and develop state‑of‑the‑art solutions on Salesforce.

Sikich is seeking a seasoned Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working hands‑on with customers to architect, develop and deploy Salesforce solutions.

• Work as part of an agile development team implementing various Salesforce clouds.
• Help lead technical discussions with business and development teams to ensure solutions meet best‑practice standards.
• Leverage deep familiarity with Salesforce license models and limitations to configure systems per client requirements.
• Collaborate with the project team to conceptualize and define system architecture focused on scalability and maintainability.
• Use Apex, Visualforce, Aura, Flows and Lightning Web Components to develop business use cases on Salesforce.
• Support and lead the creation of technical documentation for developed systems.
• Implement development and deployment best practices and methodologies in a client setting.
• Ensure code quality through peer code reviews and process improvement participation.
• Architect system integrations between Salesforce and other applications.
• Implement robust security and access controls within the system.
• Monitor new Salesforce features that benefit business use cases.
• Collaborate with quality assurance to resolve issues promptly and communicate status to stakeholders.

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years working with Salesforce in a technical role.
• 1+ year of experience in a senior or lead capacity.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, engaging effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform Developer I and II are desirable.
• Experience designing and implementing Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware solutions.
• Familiarity with agile/scrum methodology.
• Hands‑on ability to create technical documentation including high‑level system design, low‑level system design, system landscape, entity relationship diagrams, configuration workbooks, and other client deliverables for enterprise Salesforce implementations.
• Proven ability to lead a cross‑functional team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $130,000. Final offers may vary based on experience and geographic location.
