Entity Resolution Engineer; MDM

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and tune Splink entity resolution models for individual and organizational provider records.
• Define blocking rules, comparison logic, thresholds, and model parameters to support accurate matching.
• Build entity resolution workflows using Python, Databricks, Delta Lake, and SQL.
• Link, match, and consolidate provider records into the Master Provider Record in the Gold layer.
• Validate model outputs through accuracy checks, false positive / false negative review, and data quality analysis.
• Produce model accuracy reports, performance metrics, and documentation for technical and business stakeholders.
• Work with data engineering, MDM, and analytics teams to ensure scalable, reliable, production-ready outputs.

• 10–12 years of experience in data engineering, MDM, entity resolution, data matching, or data platform engineering.
• Experience designing, tuning, and validating probabilistic record linkage or entity resolution models.
• Strong understanding of master data, golden record creation, deduplication, survivorship, and data quality concepts.
• Ability to evaluate match accuracy and explain model assumptions, limitations, and results.
• Experience with lakehouse or medallion architecture, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers.
• Healthcare provider, organization, reference data, or similar complex entity-domain experience is a plus.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills with technical and business stakeholders.
