Point Quest - North California Prep School is hiring Behavioral Aides/Driver: $17.50-$19.00/hour +Benefits | Full-Time | Sacramento, CA Monday–Friday | School
Hours:
School hours are 7:45am-1:30pm;
When driving route added 6am-4pm.
The Driver/Behavioral Aide is a dual-role position responsible for safely transporting students to and from school while providing behavioral, instructional, and classroom support throughout the school day. This role requires excellent student supervision, strong communication skills, and the ability to foster a safe, positive, and supportive environment for students with learning, social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Working collaboratively with teachers and school staff, the Driver/Behavioral Aide helps implement individualized education and behavior plans while promoting student success both during transportation and in the classroom.

- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license with a clean DMV record
- DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background Clearance
- TB Clearance
- Ability to read maps and use GPS
- Proficiency with basic computer software and internet applications
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Reliability, flexibility, and dependability
- Must be at least 21 years of age (due to driving responsibilities)
- Environment:
Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, fumes, and moderate to high noise levels - Physical Activity:
Frequent reaching, handling, standing, walking, lifting, and securing mobility equipment - Sensory Requirements:
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
