Under the direction of the Branch Manager, this role ensures the safe, efficient delivery and pick-up of welding equipment and supplies for our customers. Additionally the incumbent repairs, refurbishes, and maintains engine driven welding equipment and generators as needed. You will provide excellent service by maintaining professional driving standards and assisting customers with equipment operation, while playing key role in our branch's daily and operational success.

  • Safely transport and coordinate welding equipment, parts, and supplies, ensuring excellent customer service and clear communication during every interaction.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by upholding and championing all Airgas/Red-D-ARC health and safety guidelines and conducting thorough pre-trip fleet safety inspections.
  • Thoughtfully maintain essential DOT documentation, including driver logs, trip reports, and monthly fuel tax reports accurately.
  • Support shop operations by collaborating with technical team members on equipment servicing and maintaining an organized workspace when not driving.
  • Provide helpful guidance to customers by answering questions and giving clear overviews of equipment operation to foster understanding.
  • Adapt to changing schedules and priorities, building solutions to meet team and customer goals.
Are you a MATCH?
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with at least 1 year of driving experience OR be an entry-level driver directly from a certified, FMCSA-registered truck driving school.
  • Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work with diverse teams and customers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Forklift Certification.
  • Working knowledge of positioning equipment, welding applications, and equipment.
