The Dispatcher - Regional Truckload is a full-time, on-site role based in Sacramento, CA. The role involves coordinating and dispatching regional truckload drivers, assigning loads, and monitoring routes to ensure on-time pickup and delivery. The dispatcher communicates regularly with drivers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues, manage updates, and maintain accurate load status information. Daily responsibilities include optimizing schedules, tracking equipment, entering data into dispatch systems, and responding to operational challenges in a timely manner.

The role also requires adherence to company policies and transportation regulations while supporting a safe and efficient operating environment.

• Experience in truckload or transportation dispatch, including route planning and load coordination.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with drivers, customers, and internal staff.
• Proficiency with dispatch or transportation management systems and basic computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets).
• Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems quickly, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of regional trucking operations, DOT regulations, and general safety practices is preferred.
• Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping for schedules, documents, and load information.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or coursework in logistics or transportation is a plus.
• Previous on-site dispatch or logistics coordination experience is beneficial.
