Job Description:
OES Equipment, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is a fast‑paced and innovative construction consumable and heavy equipment rental company. We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to support our Sacramento office. The Associate will perform entry‑level warehouse duties supporting order fulfillment, inventory handling, and warehouse organization. The role will be carried out under close guidance while learning safe material handling practices and warehouse processes.
- Assist with picking, packing, loading, and unloading materials.
- Support inventory organization, put‑aways, and stock rotation.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the warehouse environment.
- Follow established procedures for material handling and equipment use.
- Support team members with daily warehouse tasks as assigned.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, lifting, and loading; must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds at times.
- Safely operate warehouse machinery (training provided if needed).
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Positive interpersonal skills and strong work ethic.
- Strong verbal communication skills, especially in customer interactions.
- Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
- Self‑driven; ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
High school diploma or equivalent experience required. No prior warehouse experience required. Forklift certification or ability to obtain required certification. Construction supply and equipment knowledge a plus.
PayAnticipated starting pay range: $18.00 – $24.00.
