The Distribution Associate is responsible for performing a variety of manual and clerical tasks related to the receiving, storage, and shipment of materials and finished products within a warehouse environment. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and attendance. Associates will primarily operate stand‑up forklifts and must be comfortable working in a structured, fast‑paced team environment with variable workloads throughout the year.
Job Responsibilities- Operate stand‑up forklifts as the primary material handling equipment
- Receive incoming goods, verify shipments against records, and inspect product condition
- Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods
- Record received and shipped materials using written and computerized systems
- Route materials, supplies, and equipment to appropriate inspection or stock locations
- Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Primary experience operating stand‑up forklifts
- Minimum of 2 years of stand‑up forklift experience or 3 years of sit‑down forklift experience
- Ability to work extended hours during peak periods, including occasional Saturdays
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
- Commitment to safety, attendance, and teamwork
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature fluctuations
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 1 year of related warehouse or distribution experience
- Forklift certification preferred
