Compensation: $21.00 - $23.00 D.O.E.

Pride Staff is partnering with a prominent company in the Sacramento area seeking a reliable and versatile Warehouse & Yard Associate to join their team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind their daily operations, working both indoors in the warehouse and outdoors in the yard.

You will handle everything from scanning and packaging incoming inventory to operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load trucks. If you have a strong eye for detail, a commitment to safety, and a customer-first mindset, we want to look at your resume!

• Shipping & Receiving:
  Accurately load trucks for outgoing shipments and efficiently handle inbound material receiving and put-away.
• Order Fulfillment:
  Pull, prepare, and securely package orders for shipment according to company standards.
• Inventory & Stock Management:
  Safely rotate yard stock and move heavy materials throughout the facility using a forklift.
• Documentation:
  Accurately complete all work orders, receiving documents, and inventory paperwork.
• Teamwork & Service:
  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure branch success and deliver excellent customer service.

• Scanner
  
  Experience:
  
  Proven ability to use handheld scanners for inventory tracking and order pulling.
• Forklift Operations:
  Practical experience operating both sitting and standing forklifts.
• Packaging:
  Experience properly securing, wrapping, and preparing materials for transit.

• Experience:
  
  1+ years of experience in a warehouse or industrial yard position (experience with building materials is a major plus!)
• Physical Ability:
  Able to lift and move heavy materials (up to 60 lbs) on occasion.
• Basic Skills:
  
  Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical functions accurately.
• Flexibility:
  Must be dependable and available to work overtime as business demands require.
