About the Role

At ICONIX Waterworks, we help deliver the infrastructure that keeps communities running. Our products and solutions support clean drinking water, fire protection, stormwater management, and critical utility systems that serve neighborhoods, schools, businesses, and municipalities.

From new construction and infrastructure improvements to emergency repairs, our customers rely on us to provide the right products and solutions when they matter most.

We're seeking a dependable, safety-focused professional who takes pride in doing quality work, staying organized, and supporting the team. As a Warehouse/Yard Associate, you'll play an important role in making sure materials are received, stored, picked, loaded, and delivered accurately and safely so our customers can keep their projects moving.

What a Warehouse/Yard Associate role at ICONIX looks like:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, parts, and equipment to ensure products, quantities, and condition match purchase orders and documentation.
  • Pick and fulfill customer orders, requisitions, work orders, and material requests accurately and efficiently.
  • Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other material‑handling equipment to safely move, stage, load, and unload products throughout the warehouse and yard.
  • Prepare customer orders and outgoing shipments for delivery, verifying products and quantities and ensuring loads are properly positioned and secured.
  • Label, identify, organize, and store products in designated locations to maintain an efficient and orderly warehouse and yard.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and assist with physical inventory activities to help ensure products are available when customers need them.
  • Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed to support customer demand and daily operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free warehouse and yard by properly handling recyclables, waste, and other materials in accordance with company procedures.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, use appropriate personal protective equipment, and promptly report hazards, near misses, and incidents.
  • Work closely with warehouse, sales, operations, and branch teams to ensure customers receive the right products, at the right time, in the right condition.
Here’s a Snapshot of How You’ll Contribute to Our Team

You'll help keep our warehouse and yard running safely, accurately, and efficiently. From receiving incoming products to preparing customer orders for delivery, your work will directly support our customers and the communities that depend on essential water and wastewater infrastructure.

Success in this role comes from being dependable, detail oriented, and willing to take ownership of your work. You'll need to stay organized while managing multiple priorities, communicate effectively with teammates, and follow established procedures to ensure materials are handled correctly.

This is a hands‑on role where every day can look a little different. During busy periods, you’ll help keep orders moving and ensure customers receive what they need. During slower periods, you’ll look for opportunities to support the team, whether that’s organizing inventory, completing cycle counts, cleaning the warehouse and yard, or helping wherever needed to keep the business moving forward.

Experience in warehousing, inventory management, construction, waterworks, industrial distribution, or forklift operation is a plus, but we’re also interested in people who bring a strong work ethic, positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to safety.

Who We’re Looking For

We're looking for someone who is eager to build a career in the waterworks and utility industry. Whether you already have warehouse or distribution experience or are looking for an opportunity to develop your skills in a hands‑on environment, this role offers the opportunity to learn, grow, and make an impact.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys staying active, and understands the importance of accuracy, teamwork, and safety. You’ll be part of a team that plays an essential role in getting the products and materials…
