About the Role:

Advanced Marine Construction in Safety Harbor, FL is looking for an experienced Barge Foreman to lead our dock and boat lift installation crews on the water. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee marine construction projects in an outdoor environment. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate barge-based crews during dock and boat lift construction, installation, and repair projects
• Operate and oversee barge equipment and marine construction tools safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret project plan specifications for dock and boat lift installations
• Ensure all work is completed on schedule, within scope, and meets quality standards
• Enforce jobsite safety protocols and OSHA/marine safety regulations at all times
• Communicate daily progress, issues, and needs to project managers and ownership
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment staging, and crew scheduling on the water

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a foreman or lead in marine construction, dock building, or boat lift installation
• Hands-on experience operating barges and marine construction equipment
• Strong knowledge of dock systems, boat lift mechanisms, and waterfront structures
• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a crew in a physically demanding, outdoor environment
• Solid understanding of marine safety regulations and jobsite safety practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing conditions on the water
• Valid driver's license required
