Escrow Officer

Job Summary

Provides escrow services for residential and commercial resale, new construction, refinance, relocation and timeshare transactions. Responsible for facilitating real estate transactions by providing a high level of customer service and proactive communication to both internal and external customers throughout the closing process.

• Establish and manage new escrow accounts, manage funds, process documents for closings, and complete settlements in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Act as a neutral liaison between file parties, adhere to company policy, monitor and mitigate risk to the company.
• Work in collaboration with related teams to accomplish objectives, impacting the quality, timeliness and effectiveness of the team through own work.
• Recognize and solve atypical problems that occur infrequently and evaluate/select solutions from existing precedents or procedures.
• Communicate and explain complex information, including interdependencies within the team and others.
• Work under limited supervision, use discretion to modify work practices and processes to achieve results or improve efficiency.
• Act as a resource for less experienced team members; no supervisory responsibilities.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

High school diploma required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Typically requires 5+ years of related work experience.
