The Staff Pad has partnered with a leading commercial roofing contractor to identify an experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager / Estimator to join its growing team in Saginaw, Texas. This organization delivers commercial roofing, reroofing, restoration, maintenance, and waterproofing solutions for clients across a wide range of commercial and industrial facilities. They are seeking a seasoned construction professional who can successfully estimate projects, manage execution from award through closeout, and build lasting relationships with customers and project stakeholders.

This role is ideal for an experienced commercial roofing professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys balancing estimating with project management, and takes pride in delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Prepare accurate estimates from blueprints, specifications, field measurements, site inspections, photographs, sketches, and construction documents
- Review plans and contract documents to determine project scope, constructability, labor requirements, equipment, and material needs
- Identify scope gaps, specification discrepancies, and scheduling conflicts before project award
- Develop detailed project budgets and pricing for commercial roofing projects
- Prepare customer proposals, change order estimates, and supporting documentation
- Perform field inspections and gather information necessary for accurate project pricing
- Manage commercial roofing projects from contract award through final closeout
- Develop project schedules, budgets, manpower plans, equipment requirements, material procurement, and subcontractor coordination
- Oversee project execution while ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget
- Monitor labor, material, subcontractor, and equipment costs throughout the project lifecycle
- Review and manage project financial performance, including WIP reporting and cost‑to‑complete forecasting
- Prepare and negotiate change orders while ensuring timely customer approvals
- Coordinate project closeout activities, warranty documentation, and final project completion
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, property managers, and subcontractors
- Attend pre‑construction meetings, project kickoff meetings, job progress meetings, and client updates
- Work closely with field leadership to ensure successful project execution
- Coordinate with estimating, operations, and executive leadership to prioritize workload and project success
- Promote a strong culture of job‑site safety and operational excellence
- Conduct pre‑job safety planning and ensure compliance with company safety standards
- Monitor project quality and ensure all work meets contract requirements and industry best practices
- Address project challenges proactively to minimize delays and maintain customer satisfaction
- 3+ years of commercial roofing or commercial construction project management experience
- Experience estimating commercial roofing projects and preparing change order pricing
- Strong understanding of commercial roof systems, construction methods, contracts, and specifications
- Experience with construction and project management software
- Experience reviewing blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from award through closeout
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project
- Valid driver's license with ability to travel approximately 60% to project sites
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and comfortably access commercial rooftops
- Degree in Construction Management or a related field
- OSHA 30 Certification
