* JOB SUMMARY:
** The Department of Theatre at SVSU seeks a part-time instructor for winter semester 2027 to teach a 3-credit junior-level course in Costume and Make-Up Design (THEA 370). The expectation is for in-person, on-campus teaching and the ability to teach and mentor a broad spectrum of undergraduate students. The class meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:00 pm - 2:20 pm.

* MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
*** Master's degree in Theatre or closely related field
* Experience in Costume Design and Make-Up Design
* Experience and ability to positively interact with all members of the campus community.
* Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodations.

* Job Summary:
** The Adjunct Faculty member provides high-quality instruction on a part-time, semester-by-semester contract basis. Responsibilities include preparing course materials, delivering lectures, and assessing student performance. The role is designed to support the department's academic goals while enhancing the learning experience for students.

* ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
*** Prepare and deliver instructional content in [specific subject]. Develop and distribute syllabi, assignments, and exams.
* Evaluate and grade student performance, providing feedback as needed.
