You don t need prior teaching experience. We ll provide the curriculum, training, and support to help you become a successful instructor.

As an instructor, you ll:
- Share your knowledge and experience with adult students preparing for careers in the skilled trades.
- Teach just one evening each week (5:30–9:30 PM)
- Receive support to become an NCCER Certified Instructor
. - Work with a collaborative education team that values quality instruction and student success.
- Make a real difference in helping students build rewarding careers.
This part-time instructor will teach adult students through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on lab activities. The curriculum covers topics including:
- Temperature, Pressure, and Flow
- Instrument Drawings
- Installing Field-Mounted Instruments
- Raceway for Instruments
- Clean, Purge, and Test Tubing Systems
- Layout and Installation of Tubing and Piping Systems
- Test Equipment
- Safe work practices and industry standards
Our instructors focus on helping students understand both the "how" and the "why" behind the work while developing the practical skills employers expect.
Responsibilities- Deliver engaging classroom and hands-on instruction.
- Create a safe, organized, and positive learning environment.
- Prepare students for NCCER knowledge and performance assessments.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Encourage professionalism, safety, and teamwork.
- Attend instructor meetings at the beginning of each semester.
- Complete required attendance, grading, and instructional documentation.
We re looking for someone who has:
- At least 4 years of instrumentation experience
. - Journeyman status or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for mentoring and helping others learn.
- Commitment to workplace safety and high-quality workmanship.
Teaching experience is welcome but not required

- Part-time
- 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM
- Additional paid preparation time as needed
- NCCER Instructor Certification training
