Spicer Group is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our Structural Services Group as a Project Engineer in our Saginaw, St. Johns or Bingham Farms office. Our rapidly growing Structural Service Group is a team of highly educated engineers and designers who work for a variety of different clients in the transportation, industrial, commercial, and municipal industries. Typical projects will include providing structural design solutions for Bridge Rehabilitations & Replacements, Foundations and Structural Support for Industrial and Manufacturing Processes.

Structural design will be completed using standard analytical methods using Finite Element Analysis and Open Bridge Designer. This position will assist with the preparation of designs, specifications, calculations, cost estimates, and more on projects across the region and country. As a Structural Engineer in this position, you will provide engineering support within our Transportation, Water Resources, and Municipal Service Groups. They will assist with the preparation of designs, specifications, calculations, cost estimates, bridge and structural inspection reports and more on projects all throughout the state of Michigan. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Completing lead activities for the preparation of proposals for projects and assisting project managers with budgeting, scheduling, directing subordinates, prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines, and communicating with superiors and clients on small to medium size projects
