The OB/GYN Clinic Coordinator oversees the daily administrative and clinical operations of the OB/GYN clinic. This role supports patient care coordination, facilitates communication between patients and providers, and helps maintain smooth clinic workflow. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and committed to supporting women’s health in a team‑based environment.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate new OB patient intake, education, follow‑up calls, and postpartum check‑ins
- Support surgery scheduling, referrals, and insurance authorizations
- Serve as primary contact for non‑emergent patient questions and triage under supervision
- Assist with clinic scheduling, workflows, and provider templates to ensure smooth operations
- Provide clinical support within scope and participate in quality and performance improvement efforts
- Help onboard, orient, and support new staff members
- Certificate, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, CMA, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in OB/GYN, women’s health, or clinic operations (preferred)
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities
- Experience with EHR systems and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of women’s health and obstetric terminology
- Compassionate and professional patient interaction skills
