Roles & Responsibilities   Set up and calibrate radiographic and cine equipment prior to angiographic and interventional procedures to ensure optimal imaging
Process and perform quality control checks on cine radiographic images to support accurate diagnostics
Prepare patients and sterile fields, assist with sterile tray setup, and provide post-cath care for smooth procedural flow
Manipulate radiographic generator settings and other imaging parameters to achieve the best possible image quality
Operate hemodynamic and monitoring equipment — cardiac output computers, oxygen saturation devices, pacemaker tools — and perform physiologic studies
Assist physicians and interdisciplinary cath lab staff to maintain an efficient, timely schedule and high standard of care
Maintain room cleanliness and turnover so the lab is always ready for the next case
Qualifications   Interventional Radiology experience — REQUIRED
Neuro interventional experience — REQUIRED
Active Michigan license (LARA/Nursys) showing Active Michigan/MI — REQUIRED
Active ARRT certification — REQUIRED
Active American Heart Association BLS — REQUIRED
Complete and up-to-date work history and a skills checklist current to 1 year (Cath Lab specialty) — REQUIRED
Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years — REQUIRED
Candidates must provide permanent address outside the facility’s 50-mile restricted radius (facility will not consider local candidates)
Knowledge & Skills   Angiographic procedures and cath lab support
Cine radiographic image processing and quality control
Radiographic generator technique and image optimization
Patient preparation, sterile technique, and post-procedure care
Hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac output measurement, and oxygen saturation studies
Experience operating pacemaker equipment and other cardiac devices
Strong teamwork, communication, and facility-focused workflow skills
